Why Does Christmas Fade?
The day after Jesus was born, there were lives that were radically impacted. The Magi went away after rejoicing and offering of their treasures and the Shepherds went away glorifying and praising God. Jesus' birth moved them in deep and profound ways. For us, the day after Christmas has become the empty room after the party, the balloon after it has lost it's air, and a day reserved for playing with your gifts from the day before. It seems as though this is a far cry from what the Magi and Shepherds may have experienced the "next day" and we explore why there is such a quick deflation of the "Christmas spirit".
