Why Church?
Our post-modern culture is given to questioning everything- morals, cultural standards, religious beliefs, family values. In this cultural reality, the church/Church struggles to gain a foothold in terms of relevance and meaning. So many questions are swirling around churches today- their purpose, mission, focus, maybe even their very existence. So, why do we "do" church? What is the church? Who gets to be part of the church? What is the church supposed to be doing? We wrestle with these issues and are reminded again of God's lofty, high goals and purposes for His Church.
