Our God Is With Us
Christmas means so many things to so many people and it carries so much meaning in its many symbols. In the midst of our struggles, losses, hopes, fears, disappointments, dreams- all of the things that make up life- what good is Christmas? To remain true to the meaning of Christmas, do we have to emphasize the baby Jesus, the virgin birth, the manger, the wisemen, the empty inn, or is there something else? In all of history, 2 babies have been born that brought hope to men. One baby was born that brought freedom to God's people.
