Matthew 23
We all want to feel good about ourselves. Unfortunately, we sometimes use others to make ourselves feel better. By comparing ourselves to others, by condemning their shortcomings and judging their failures, we easily slip into a kind of religious hypocrisy that makes us more like the Pharisees of Jesus' time than we might be comfortable with. Christ instructs us in the way of true righteousness and to avoid false religious actions in Matthew 23 - will you be brave enough to listen and obey?
