Jesus Is...Love, Light, and Life
Trying to wrap our minds around God seems like an impossible task. The enormity of just the idea of God is intimidating. If we are to understand God, we have to start with God; we have to go to the source, avoiding as much speculation and man-centered philosophies as possible. So, instead of starting with us or our limited knowledge understanding of love, life or God, we must start with God and how he has revealed himself. Our only hope for knowing God and knowing life and knowing love is for God to show himself and all these things to us. We must turn to him, to the light of who he has shown himself to be, if we are to have any life now and forever. Christ tells us what our problem is, why we don't understand what God has so plainly said, and what our hope is: Run to the Light!
