The Truth About Worship
Revelation 4 & 5 So much about modern Christianity our unhealthy and incessant need to be the center of all things. We’re ok if the universe doesn’t revolve around the sun so long as it continues to revolve around us! The practice of worship is the act of decentralizing me and putting the emphasis and attention on God, and Christ in particular. We have been created for worship and will worship something, and we often confuse beautiful things with the Source of beauty and true beauty. And that makes us idolaters as we give ourselves and our resources to the things that we think will make us happy. We want to know what it looks like to respond to who God is and what he has done, to live in daily worship.
