Gospel - Martin Luther once was asked by a church member why he preached the gospel nearly every Sunday to his congregation. Luther replied, "I keep sharing it because you keep forgetting it." Here at The Sanctuary, we believe the gospel should lace, line, and litter everything that is done. It should be shared and lived. With Luther we believe as well that it is too quickly "forgotten"; in our thinking and our actions. So, every Sunday a brief gospel explanation is given. However, Pastor Thomas often pauses several times a year to dedicate a Sunday to rearticulate the gospel to everyone once again. It's great for those who are saved and for the many at The Sanctuary each week who are not followers of Christ but come to check out this movement.
