Freed by Grace
In our day, the Gospel has come under attack. People trying to add to the message of grace, to detract to it by adding works, and to misdirect the attention and glory from God to us and our efforts at goodness. Not unlike Paul’s day when he wrote to the Galatians, we need to be ready to stand up for the pure Gospel and to never stop being amazed at its simplicity. God’s greatness is shown in the Gospel as he reaches into our wandering darkness and pulls us into his life and light. And through our changed lives he reveals Jesus to others! Its God’s grace that makes a way for us to be saved and then comes and gets us- be amazed at that kind of grace!
