CloseIts not difficult for most of us to think of at least one prideful person. And most of us have a pretty good grasp on what makes a person prideful. And most of us would never want to see ourselves as being prideful. But that's kind of the problem with pride, isn't it? A huge blind spot in our character that keeps us from ever having meaningful relationships with others and destructive of our relationship with God. As we act on our pride and make lifestyle choices that turn us to self sufficiency and preoccupied with self. We neglect those in our life who need from us instead of making something of us. We become ungrateful and really believe we can make it without God or others. God wants to have a relationship with us and to fill us up with what matters- and he'll stop at nothing to be the greatest thing in your life!
