Committed to Resurrection Peace
Just getting up and living life brings on a slew of experiences that are both bitter and sweet. The very same event can bring both great joy and great pain, and many times neither would be complete or exist without the other. The cross and resurrection of Christ is one such event- the pain of the Father in giving up his Son and the joy of a world waiting for redemption. As Christ appeared to his followers he gave them many things, even though they were still mired in their lack of faith, doubt and grief over his death. One of the main things the resurrection of Christ gives us is the peace of God- a peace that is unshakeable, that comes to us when we are most afraid, and that gives us the faith we need we our doubts are overwhelming us.
