Committed to Follow to the Cross
The cross is one of the simplest and brutally plain parts of Christianity to explain. It is also the deepest, most profound and complex event in all of history. Christ was absolutely committed to being on that cross on that hill on that day. He was committed to fulfilling everything necessary for us to have a right relationship with God. He was committed to making a way for us to be freed from sin and given new life. Will those of us who follow him today be as committed to following him at all times, in all things, at all costs? What will you do with the Christ of the cross?
