Committed to Die for the Mob

Every four year in our country, there's lots of talk about power and authority. Who will sit in the White House, in the Oval Office, and be the (arguably) the most powerful man in the world? These are important times in the life of our country and the entire world. What could matter more than that, than the election of the man to lead us into an unsure and difficult future? Christ was confronted with the seat of all authority in his world- Rome. As we study this encounter on his road to the cross we begin to see that there is a place of authority inside each of us, a throne in our hearts and souls. Who sits on that throne is probably the main issue we must all decide if we are to live among a fickle crowd that seeks to influence us and our own fear that could cripple us.
