Blind to the One Who Sees
We live in a world where people with handicaps cannot only function but flourish. Advancements in technology, broad rules regarding construction and public access, and a radical change in perspective regarding those with handicaps have combined to make the prospects of handicapped persons infinitely better than they were just 25 or 50 years ago. But when all is said and done, I think most of us would agree that its better to not be handicapped, even though these great advancements have been made. More debilitating is a form of spiritual handicap that keeps us from seeing the works of the Lord, the plans he has made for us and the ways in which he is working. The cure for our spiritual blindness is a super-natural, merciful work of God!
