Become Sons of Light
So much debate has raged over the years regarding why people act the way they do. There have been many attempts to pinpoint the factor that impacts us and our behavior most- environment? education? genetics? Jesus and the Bible would maintain that man's first and biggest problem isn't his behavior nor any of the other factors listed above. God has also told us that our main remedy for our problems don't come from behavior modification, medications, or religious practices. While we're looking to so many people and things to change our lives Jesus told us to look to him and he'd draw us to himself. While we stumble in the dark for a solution to our problems and answers to our questions, Jesus told us to come to him and he'd make us children of light. As our nature changes, we are able to behave differently and to glorify God through Christ.
