Freed by Jesus
Some people see a huge discrepancy in the messages of James and Galatians, as if the authors are communicating radically different messages to us about the core of Christianity. Some people see works based salvation, others see freedom, others see bondage, others see rules, others see proof, others see grace and fatih. In reality, and because the Holy Spirit is the author of the whole Book, these two great books are not at odds with each other; in reality they complement one another! In Galatians, we gain a full understanding of what it means to be free in Jesus and we are encouraged to remain true to this message no matter what- because only in a clear, pure Gospel do we receive the power to live in freedom!
