Conversations with God: AKA-prayer
There has been a lot written, taught, said, and experienced regarding prayer. One message can't hope to explore every aspect of this area of theology, but we can get a better understanding of prayer from various places in Scripture. Psalm 118 has been a long-cherished text for many believers over the centuries and has impacted the prayer life of many believers. As we think about prayer, we want to know that we're talking to the right person and talking to him "the right way." We talk to God because of our desperate need for him and our utter dependance on all that he has for us. This Psalm directs our prayer to be Christ-centered and steeped in love. Praying can be a chore or a blessing- listen to the Psalmist as he encourages your prayers to be powerful and fulfilling, and be ready to change your life to live in the fullness that comes from a rich prayer life!
