Next Gen/ Online Campus Pastor

Samuel Woo was born and raised in Sugar Land, TX on June 27, 1995. He is the youngest of three boys. Samuel was raised in a Christian home and son of a pastor. He accepted Christ when he was five years old. Although it seems like a very young age, he knew without a doubt that the Lord spoke to him and saved him. There have been many trials and tough times in his Christian walk, but he is continually striving to become more like Christ each day. Their family moved to Singapore when he was 15 years old, so his dad could pastor the International Baptist Church of Singapore. Samuel attended college at Baylor for two years then took a gap year. It was during that time that the Lord really worked in Samuel’s heart and he knew he needed to go to Bible school. When Samuel was 20 years old, the Lord called him into the ministry. After his gap year in Singapore, he went to a small town in Arkansas to attend Ouachita Baptist University. After completing a Bachelors degree in Christian Studies May of 2018, he decided to go to Dallas Theological Seminary. After being there one semester, he felt it was best to transfer to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. In December of 2020, he graduated with his Masters of Divinity from SWBTS.

While attending college at OBU, Samuel met the love of his life, Lauren, while ballroom dancing with a group from a retirement home. They got married May 16, 2020. Samuel loves traveling the world, reading, playing golf, and going on adventures with his wife.
Samuel and Lauren are excited to serve The Sanctuary Fellowship and they are looking forward to how God will use and teach them.
