Trafficking Abolition Group (TAG)
Psalm 10:17-18
Sex trafficking is the fastest growing organized crime enterprise in the world. It is difficult to compile accurate statistics due to the explosive nature of the business. It is certain; however, that the Houston area is a prime hub to the industry due to the I-10 corridor, I-69, and its close proximity to the border. The TAG ministry exists to abolish the trafficking business by bringing awareness, intelligence and education to the community and hope to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Team members have a variety of options to serve in all or some of the following areas:
- Take gifts to an “adopted” massage parlor
- Visit hotels promoting awareness
- Backpage outreach offering hotline number, hope, and prayer
- Truck stops – monitor for illegal activity
- The ministry is also working on getting information into local schools for the 2015-2016 school year
