TRUTH WEEKEND – JUSTICE

With so many terrible things happening around the world, it is easy to get overwhelmed with the magnitude of it all.  Modern day slavery, corrupt governments, unfair wages, terrorism, crime, and the list goes on and on.  For most of us, we use the excuse that someone else will take care of it… someone more powerful, more wealthy, more mature, more……..  But what if there was something that YOU could do about it?  Forget about the age excuse, the money excuse, the power excuse!  What if God has appointed you to be the catalyst to make a significant change in the way things are?  You might be able to impact a single person immensely, or maybe you’ll impact the world!  The point is that when God calls you, He does so with the understanding that you have limitations, and He will do what needs to be done so that you can walk in His calling.  Let Him worry about the details!  You just obey and watch Him do incredible things.

Truth Weekend is all about getting mobilized to do great things in the name of our Great God!!

We are kicking off the weekend on Friday night at 5:00PM with: Basketball and Volleyball tournaments, a concert from the group “Second” (http://secondent.com), dinner, a message, and games.  Students will stay in a host home with their respective age group (HS Boys; HS Girls; MS Boys; MS Girls) where they will do each of their sessions.  On Saturday, we will all meet at Jenny Lane for lunch, and then will spend a couple of hours cleaning up their community.  As a group, we will return to the church for some intense games, and then it will be back to the host homes for the evening.  The weekend will wrap up with the service on Sunday morning, where students can meet their parents and head home.

This will most definitely be a time of life transformation, and hopefully, a time where the Lord will put a calling on your heart that is so big, only He will be able to make it happen!  If you have any questions about this event, please contact us at students@tsf-church.com.
