Irresistible God (Matthew 28:16-18)

Pastor Thomas Young, September 20, 2009
Part of the Irresistible - The Gospel Becomes Life series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This is the second installment in the Irresistible series. In this message, Pastor Thomas shares how the Great Commission reveals that the natural reaction to really knowing God is that we worship Him with a life of amazement. The amazement factor is an integral to being a disciple fulfilling the Great Commission. When God is amazing to us we will become avid, adamant, and passionate worshipers of Jesus. In order for us to be effective in living out the gospel, we must truly deem Him to be the irresistible God of our lives.

Matthew 28:16-18

16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (KJV)
