2021 Vision and BEYOND!
The Lord has blessed TSF in so many ways over the years, and one of the greatest achievements for any church plant is to still be in operation after 15 years- and TSF accomplished just that in December 2021! While we are thrilled to look back at how the Lord has provided for our church family over the years, we are even more excited to look forward at what he has for us in our future ministry!
As we looked at the future of our church’s ministry, in October 2021 our church family agreed that it is time for us to start giving toward the purchase of the facility and land we have been occupying by lease for 9+ years. We believe that for us to continue to be a faithful Gospel outpost here in Fort Bend County, we need to insure that this is our base for ministry and outreach for generations to come. We prayed for 6 weeks and explained the research our leadership teams have done over the last several years, and our TSF family committed to start giving toward the purchase of this property as soon as possible.
The first milestone we dedicated ourselves to is to have $400,000.00 in the Legacy Building Fund before we started detailed negotiations to purchase the property. Since October 2021, our Legacy fund has increased from $210,000.00 to over $290,000.00! We are hopeful and planning to have the additional needed funds in the bank by the end of August 2022 so we can begin the purchasing process.
Fist we say thank you to all who have already given and who continue to give! You’re making the dream come true! Next, we encourage everyone who considers TSF part of your church home to jump in and give with us. Its pretty simple and so achievable as we act in faithfulness to accomplish the mission God has given us here at TSF. If 200 of us agree to give an additional $100 each month through August, we will accomplish our goal!
